With a great help from clope, gengo 2.5 alpha 2 is out, and you can download it from its download page on WordPress.org (get ‘development version’). This release is almost working, I’m testing it live on several websites, including Pixline as well, but still use at your own risk.

Last changes include:

• better terms/tags/category dealing: [40724], [43374] (props clope)
• language box fixed (for both posts and pages): [43371](props clope)
• working language widget: [43376] (props clope)

I’m going to make a complete debug list in the next days, and have the full picture of what’s working and what’s not. Would you like to help us? Report issues or submit patches on our tracker at wp-plugins.org.

As usual, this version will work with WordPress 2.5 only, and WILL NOT UPGRADE older websites that runs older version of gengo (wait a little more for this).

If you want to upgrade from 2.5 alpha 1 or googlecode version, you’ll better have a look at gengo_schema.php and make sure your db structure matches it, manually or by phpmyadmin. I’m sorry, I’m working on the updater, but the whole googlecode thing messed up schema a bit, please wait a little more.
