Hi,

I think your plugin is exactly what I’m looking for, let me explain.

I want certian categorized posts to only show up on certain pages.

example: page 1 = cat1 page 2 = cat2 and cat3

post 1 & post 2 = cat1 and should only show up on page 1

post 3, post 4 & post 5 = cat2 and should only show up on page 2

Does your plugin accomplish this?

first – thanks for sharing your great plugin. it is much appreciated and works just fine.
I was wondering how i can use this plugin in php in-line code? meaning – is there a function i can use to put a php code in the (i.e.) header.php?

Thank you Gwyneth for your debug/request. I’m still rewriting the whole set of my plugin to make them 2.5 compatible (the 2.4 version skipping leaves me with some broken code, and I’m willing to fix them as soon as WordPress development version has the new interface working).

Hi! Thanks for this plugin widget, I was trying to do something similar using some direct template hacking (I’m not faniliar enough with how widgets really work in WP) using some free JS code — but it seems that ANT does basically everything I needed :)

I wanted ANT to look a bit more like the “default” RSS widget on WP (at least the one on 2.3.2) which shows a nice icon for a RSS feed subscription.

It seems that all I needed to do is to change line 110 (on version 0.3.1 of ANT):
echo $before_title . "" . $title ."". $after_title;
to something like this:

echo $before_title . “”
. “”
. “ ”
. $title .”". $after_title;

Please note that this is not really heavily debugged, but at least it works on this test blog of mine. This might not be “template safe” for all cases, and I’m not sure if there are more options for $kind beyond “rss” and “posts”…

A feature request: allowing multiple ANT widgets, configurable from WP’s Widget config page. Yes, I know, this might completely break the Javascript, and I’m not good enough with JS to be able to understand how bad it would behave with multiple scrolling widgets…

i am just about to test this wordpress plugin. and i think i found something which appears like a “bug”: since the category page plugin is active i do not get any of my excerpts shown anymore. :-/
